Refund & Cancellation Policy

ResumeShortlisted sells digital products (resume downloads and AI credits) that are delivered instantly. You are only ever charged at the point of download — never when you start building. This policy explains when a refund or cancellation applies.

1. Nature of the Product

ResumeShortlisted is a one-time, no-subscription digital service. A payment unlocks a specific resume download (the Pro or AI Premium plan) or a credit top-up for AI features. There are no recurring charges, so there is nothing to cancel on a renewal basis.

2. Cancelling Before Payment

You can build, edit, and preview your resume for free without paying. If you decide not to proceed, simply close the tab or start a new resume — no charge is made and there is nothing to cancel. A payment is only initiated when you choose to download a paid template or purchase AI credits.

3. Refunds After Payment

Because our product is a digital download delivered immediately upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds once a resume PDF has been successfully downloaded or AI credits have been consumed.

We understand that technical issues can happen. We will issue a full refund in the following cases:

  • You were charged but a technical error prevented your resume PDF from being generated or downloaded.
  • You were charged more than once for the same resume or top-up due to a payment gateway error.
  • AI credits you paid for could not be delivered or applied to your resume.

To be eligible, please contact us within 24 hours of the transaction with your payment reference number.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@resumeshortlisted.com and include:

  • The Razorpay payment reference / order ID from your transaction.
  • The email address or session link associated with the purchase (if any).
  • A short description of the issue you experienced.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Razorpay. Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 2–4 business days, and may take an additional 5–7 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Payments & Gateway

All payments and refunds are handled securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details. For details on how payment data is handled, please refer to Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
